Professor Talal Yusaf is an esteemed academic and executive, currently serving as the Executive Dean of Higher Education and Emerging Technologies at Aviation Australia, under the Queensland Government, and as a Professor at Central Queensland University. With a career spanning over 31 years, he has held influential positions in educational institutions across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the UK, and Australia. He was the Pro Vice Chancellor at Federation University Australia from 2018 to 2021, and the Executive Director of International and Research Partnerships at the University of Southern Queensland from 2008 to 2018. Professor Yusaf is recognized for his contributions to renewable energy and hydrogen technologies, holding dual PhDs and a strong research portfolio with over 200 journal contributions and 10 books. He is actively engaged in various leadership roles, including serving on multiple boards and panels, such as Aviation Australia and the International University Review. As an Associate Editor-in-Chief for several prestigious journals, and a member of the World's Top 2% Researchers list published by Elsevier, his impact on academia is significant.
